We are currently looking for an accountant to join our team.

La Fabrique d'Images is an 800m² studio located in Luxembourg and comprises a team of nearly 100 people. Founded in 2002, La Fabrique d'Images produces feature films and series such as Ooops! Noah is gone, Luis and the aliens, Little Brown Bear, Bayala, and who also actively participated in the recently awarded Funan. Currently working on ambitious 2D and 3D feature films and to anticipate our future own productions, we plan to reinforce our accounting team with a committed talent who will directly report to the CFO.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day bookkeeping
  • Accounts payable / Account receivable management
  • Reliable quarterly closing preparation
  • Annual accounts and consolidated accounts preparation
  • Reconciliation
  • VAT returns & Tax declaration preparation
  • Expenses related to the productions follow-up
  • Cash-flow follow-up
  • Reporting
  • Corporate / Legal support
  • Documentation management
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in accounting
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a Commercial company in Luxembourg
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially in Excel
  • Fluent both French & English
  • Working experience with BOB on a daily basis is a plus

The Synopsis: Mary O’Hara is a sharp and cheeky 12-year-old Dublin schoolgirl who is bravely facing the fact that her beloved Granny is dying. But Granny can’t let go of life, and when a mysterious young woman turns up in Mary’s street with a message for her Granny, Mary gets pulled into an unlikely adventure.

  • Working closely with the Animation Supervisor to produce high quality and story-driven animation
  • Collaborate with your Animation Supervisor and Production Manager:
    • To determine the best way to complete your shots
    • To meet the scedule and production deadlines
  • Working as a part of the team to complete assigned shots and help each other out
  • Preparing the shots efficiently and cleaning them to ease the next steps of the production
  • Submitting shots for review and follow through with feedback on a Production tracking software
Requirements
  • 2 years or more of traditional animation experience
  • Be able to work under pressure and within a feature film schedule
  • Your portfolio or demoreel should show an aptitude for timing, weight and especially acting
  • Intermediate knowledge of ToonBoom Harmony is required
  • Knowledge of Shotgun/SPI is an asset
  • Good commands of French and English

    We are currently looking for a FX Artist to join our team.

    Responsibilities
    • Design and create effects simulations for the production (simulation and render)
    • Produce look tests based on provided reference materials
    • Create tools and scripts to facilitate the workflow
    • Develop rigs/techniques to implement and optimize approved looks
    • Light and render FX passes for specific shots using developed FX rigs
    • Solve problems given art direction (creatively and technically)
    • Being multitask on multiple shots at once while managing time efficiently and observe production deadlines
    Requirements
    • Excellent knowledge of Maya, knowledge of FumeFx is an asset
    • Adaptable to in house tools
    • At least 1 year experience in VFX Production
    • Good balance of visual and technical skills
    • Team player mentality with a ‘get it done’ attitude
    • Ability to take direction and work in a team focused environment

    Responsibilities
    • Manage/build a consistent production plan
    • Work with the artistic teams to establish production milestones and deliver on time
    • Monitor production progress and budget
    • Anticipate risk and escalate them on a timely manner
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
    • Escalate creative/production issues and follow up with corrective actions
    • Centralize production information and work closely with the team supervisor to ensure an accurate and efficient internal and external communication
    • Work closely with Directors
    • Coordinate internal resources in various stages of production
    • As a team member ensure experience and knowledge are leveraged across the Production Managers team
    Requirements
    • Minimum 5+ years work experience in project management
    • Strong knowledge (or interest) of animation industry
    • Good knowledge of Office suite, specifically of Excel
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Shotgun is an asset
    • High proficiency in French and Good command of English mandatory (read/spoken/written)

    • Share and develop the Director’s vision and intentions to your team
    You are:
    • Experienced in visual development (at least one feature film)
    • Experienced in character design for later 3D modeling
    • Knowledge of Animation job (body mechanic - 3D technical constraints)
    • Ability to work on different graphic styles

    • Follow the post-production (sound and calibration)
    • Involvement from the storyboard to the end of the production
    • Collaborate with and challenge the Director
    You are:
    • Experienced as Editor (at least 5 years or 2 feature films)
    • Experienced in animation
    • High proficiency in Avid and/or Adobe Premiere
    • Knowledge of general workflows in pre-production, production, and post-production
    • Autonomous
    • Strong communication skills
    • French and English mandatory (read/spoken/written)
